Some stores may want to display gift options for certain products but not others.
In such cases, you can achieve this by creating separate product templates. Here, we will explain how to set this up in detail.
1️⃣ Complete the initial setup
First, please complete the initial setup of the SAKU Simple Gift Option app.
If you haven't completed the initial setup yet, please do so here:

*Please select "Set per product" in "Gift Option Settings."
2️⃣ Create a product template for "No Gift Options" from theme editing
From your Shopify admin screen, click "Online Store" then "Edit theme."
Click "Homepage" then "Products" at the top.
Click "Create template."
The "Create template" screen will appear. Name it "no-gift" (or "gift" if you want to create a template with gift options) or any other desired name, then click "Create template."
*Please use only alphabetic characters. If you use Japanese characters, the name may become blank or something like "-2."
Switch to the "no-gift" template and delete the "SAKU Gift (Product Page)" block that is installed.
This completes the template setup.
Next, we will apply the templates to each product.
3️⃣ Set the "no-gift" (or "gift") template for each product
[For bulk editing]
Return to the Shopify admin screen, go to "Products," click the checkboxes, and then "Bulk edit."
Click "Template" from the "Columns" on the right, and the template column will appear.
Change the template for products that don't require gift options to "product.no-gift" and click "Save."
[For individual editing]
On each product's edit screen, select "no-gift" from the "Template" dropdown in the bottom right and click "Save."
The setup is now complete.
Please go to the actual product page and confirm that the "Gift Options" app block does not appear for the products you just configured, and that it does appear for other products.
