We received a report from a customer stating that "the order of dates on receipts is MM/DD/YYYY format." Upon investigation, we found that the date order changes according to the server's locale settings, and depending on the server locale assigned by Shopify, the date order could be in an overseas format even if the location is Japan. We have now changed the date order to display in a format appropriate for the location.

 

Previous Specification

The date order would change according to the server's locale. Even if the location was Japan, depending on the assigned server locale, the date order could be in MM/DD/YYYY format, among others.

New Specification

The date order has been changed to be determined by the store's location. In Japan, dates will be displayed in YYYY/MM/DD order.
