With the app update, we have implemented the highly requested feature to "issue invoices and quotes for unpaid orders."

There are two ways to issue invoices and quotes for unpaid orders.
1️⃣ The store creates a draft order and sends the invoice/quote to the customer.
1. Create a draft order.
2. Download the invoice/quote from SAKU Simple Receipt in the admin panel.
3. Send to the customer.
4. If the customer wishes to purchase, send a billing request via email from the order list.
This is the flow.
Here's how to operate it.
First, create a draft order from the admin panel under "Order Management: Drafts" ⇒ "Create draft order."
Creating a draft order: Select products and choose an existing customer or create a new one.
Check "Pay later" and click "Create order" to create the draft order.
You can now download the invoice/quote for the created draft order from "Draft Order List" in the SAKU Simple Receipt app.
When a customer wishes to purchase, select the corresponding order from "Order Management" and click "Send invoice."
You can then bill the customer via email.
*What the customer sees on their page
If you have set up the display of "Invoice" and "Quote," a button will appear on the order details screen of the customer's page, but this is designed so that only paid orders can be downloaded.
Even if you click the button, if the order is unpaid, the message "This order has not been paid" will appear, and you will not be able to download it.
2️⃣ How to issue an invoice/quote when a customer chooses a payment method that does not incur payment at the time of purchase, such as bank transfer.
*Invoices and quotes can be issued by both the customer and the store.
・Download by the customer
When a customer chooses bank transfer or cash on delivery at the time of purchase, they can download the invoice/quote from their customer page even if the order is unpaid.
Receipts and delivery notes cannot be downloaded when the order is unpaid.
To enable customers to download, you need to display the "Invoice" and "Quote" buttons on the "Order Status Page" in the admin panel.

After the customer creates an order, orders with "Payments status" as "PENDING" (unpaid) will appear in the "Order List" of the SAKU Simple Receipt app in the admin panel.
From here, you can download the invoice/quote.
Receipts and delivery notes cannot be downloaded when the order is unpaid.
