With the app update, we have implemented a feature requested by our customers: the ability to issue invoices and estimates for unpaid orders.

There are two ways to issue an invoice or estimate for an unpaid order.
1️⃣Create a draft order on your store side, How to send invoices and estimates to customers
1. Create a draft order. 2. From the SAKU Simple Receipt on the admin panel. Download the "invoice" and "quote" 3. Send to the customer 4. If you wish to purchase, request by email from the order list
The process is as follows.
Here's how to operate it:
First, create a draft order from the admin panel by going to "Order Management: Drafts" ⇒ "Create Draft Order".

Create a draft order: Select a product and a customer or create a new one.

Check "Pay Later" and click "Create Order" to create a draft order.

From the "Draft Order List" in the SAKU Simple Receipt app, you can view the draft orders you created. You will be able to download invoices and quotes.

When a customer wishes to make a purchase, select the relevant order from "Order Management" and click "Send Invoice."

You can invoice by email.

* How it looks from the customer page

If you have the setting to display "invoices" and "quotes," a button will appear on the order details screen of the customer page, but this button is set up so that you can only download items for which payment has been completed.

Even if you click the button, if payment has not been made, the message "This is an incomplete order" will appear and you will not be able to download.

2️⃣How to issue an invoice or estimate when a customer chooses a payment method that does not require payment at the time of purchase, such as bank transfer

Download on the customer side
When customers choose bank transfer or cash on delivery at the time of purchase, they can download an invoice or estimate from the customer page even if the payment is unpaid.
Receipts and delivery notes cannot be downloaded if the payment is unpaid.

To make it possible for customers to download, go to the "Order Status Page" in the admin panel and The "Invoice" and "Quote" buttons must be displayed.

After a customer creates an order, the order will be displayed in the "Order List" of the SAKU Simple Receipt app on the admin screen with a Payments status of "PENDING" (unpaid).
Click here You can download invoices and quotes.
Here too, receipts and delivery notes cannot be downloaded if the payment is unpaid.
